At the westernmost end of Molokaii is this relic of an attempt to open up the island to tourists. Was not discussed with the locals, that a hotel complex and a golf course disturb the peace and originality of the island. So everything on a stop and continue the idylic island with only a few guests are allowed. Now you can go swimming in peace, cycling the route and enjoying nature. But what you should definitely pay attention to, the wind is always blowing and more from the east, means the way back is more exhausting than the way out.
