The 40,000 m² sports marina of Weener has become a household name for water sports enthusiasts. The geographical location of the modern sports harbor makes it possible to take boat trips from here to the inland waters of East Frisia and Holland as well as to the open sea.

The "old port" in Weener has meanwhile become a small El Dorado for traditional ships. Whether historical inland or sea, sailing or motor ships - many have found their home port in Weener.

During the season, crews with traditional ships from other ports also visit us regularly, many from other European countries. Some, who had only planned Weener as a short stage destination, stay much longer than planned. Many come back. Some stay.
