The parish church of St. Nicholas is essentially a neo-baroque church with three baroque altars.
The original church was built between 1728 and 1731. At that time, the cemetery was laid out around it. The church tower was completed in 1733 and is the oldest part of the existing building. This was rebuilt in 1928. The last conversion took place almost 40 years ago, before a complete interior conversion took place in 2019. In the course of this church renovation, an electronic organ was installed and the entire interior floor was at ground level, i.e. barrier-free.

The listed building was consecrated by Würzburg's Auxiliary Bishop Daniel Johann Anton von Gebsattel on September 27, 1752. The church's patron saint is Nicholas of Myra. The parish belongs to the parish community of Am Weinstock Jesu (Zeil am Main) in the Haßberge deanery of the Diocese of Würzburg.

Hall church from the 16th century. In the following centuries, alterations and additions took place - e.g. east tower and pulpit altar from the 18th century. After extensive renovation work, the church was reopened in early 2020.
