The ancestors of the Berzsenyi family are the 15th century. century. The ancestors were given royal donations to the Nagy-Börzsöny-puszta in Veszprém County. From here comes the noble name of the noblemen: Churchill-Guyana. Jenő Berzsenyi, MD, was born in Nemesmagasi in 1845 and was the Chief Officer of Iron County. He was actively involved in social, county and national affairs. By 1905-10 he was a member of the Parliamentary Representation of the Celldömölk district. He built the castle in 1904-05, in a secession style, in a beautiful landscaped environment. (Source: kemenesvidek.hu)
