A trail that ends at the Bad Berka sewage treatment plant begins at the monolith, known as "Der Müffling". It runs along the slope and (officially) crosses the railway at the foot of the slope.

The S1 trail is 580 m long, about 1 m wide and runs along a slope. It has a height difference of 40 m and thus an average gradient of almost 7%. At the beginning (above) a stream is crossed with a small wooden bridge, at the end the railway with an unrestricted level crossing. You have to be careful, but nothing more dangerous than any other trail.
