From the low plank lookout, the gigantic roof levels of Schneeberg and Rax peek over the wide backs of the Sopron Mountains. To the left, the special settlement structure of Brennbergbánya fills the valley in a patchy way: some parts of the coal-mining settlement are grouped around more and more mines. To the right we can see the roofs of Görbehalom, and beyond the end of the Brennberg Valley, the Lajta Mountains and the Fertőmellék Hills are already undulating.
