The Daubhaus rises in the east of the Bottenhorn plateau in the Lahn-Dill-Bergland nature park and in the west of the Hessian hinterland. His 551.8 m. ü. NHN high summit is about 750 m north of Rachelshausen, 2 km south-southeast of Holzhausen and 2 km west of Runzhausen.

On the Daubhaus there are still remains of a Celtic ring wall. Remnants of the wall can still be seen from the entrance from the north-west.
