Most important population center of South Uist with ferry terminal, etc. to Oban. The traditional Lochboisdale Hotel from 1880 is still in operation.

Vandring
Stopped off here to try the 'Croft and Cuan' for food and coffee. Can highly recommend this place as the food was lovely. Had a quick walk round with the dogs before heading back to Eriskay Beach.
