Not war nor a natural disaster are the cause that the Bartschendorfer church is without a roof, no, it was construction defects. These occurred shortly after the opening in 1802 and damaged the church.

Ruin of a church from the end of the 18th century. The west tower is still standing. The porch is still used as a cemetery chapel, the ship is no longer covered
