There is nothing to suggest that a relatively large complex of tunnels is hidden inside the mountain. This facility was set up before 1945 as a bomb-proof evasive command post for the commander of the upper section Elbe Lieutenant General Ludolf-Hermann von Alvensleben, who was responsible for the SS and police units in Saxony, Thuringia, Silesia, the Sudetengau and other areas. Today the facility is locked and serves as a bat roost.
