In 1998, the surviving walls of the palace were secured, tidied up and turned into a permanent ruin. Noteworthy is the preserved main avant-corps with the coat of arms of the von Borck family and the date 1840.

In the village of Starogard Łobeski there are the ruins of the von Borck family palace. They are situated in the central part of the village, on the northern side of the main road. In the 19th century, the palace complex consisted of over 20 buildings. The residence was one of the most impressive in Pomerania and was the center of the vast estates of the von Brock family. In February 1945, fearing the approaching front, the last owners, Henning Borcke and his wife Honneliese, leave the property. After the entry of the Red Army, the palace burned down ...
