Nice rest area on the Ravel-Weg and in the immediate vicinity of the hiking and commuter parking lot. If you are traveling by bike and would like to take a detour into the High Fens via forest paths, you have the opportunity to do so here. In the immediate vicinity, a path branches off to the right of the Ravel path.

The Konzen station used to be a stop on the former Vennbahn, which connected Aachen (Rothe Erde) with Ulflingen in Luxembourg. Most of the track has been removed today and the Vennbahnradweg now runs along the embankment.

Vandring
From here you can turn directly into the Hohes Venn moorland. The rest area is designed like many others on the Vennbahnradweg, with a small “wagon hut” and information board. Konzen is one of the highest points on the Vennbahn Cycle Path.
