Vandring

In this house, which belonged to the court gardener of Frederick II, there was a tree nursery and flower shop (gardening) for around 150 years from 1746. In 1845, the house was given its current appearance in the Italian country house style. In the 1920s, the new owners set up a collection of antiques in the house, which was bequeathed to the palaces and gardens of Potsdam-Sanssouci after their deaths.

Potsdam is the capital of the German state of Brandenburg.

The city is known for its magnificent palaces and gardens, including the famous Sanssouci Palace, once the summer residence of Frederick the Great.

Potsdam also has a rich history and was an important location during the Cold War, notable among these being the Glienicke Bridge prisoner exchanges!

The city also offers a wide range of cultural events.
