Probably no other parish in Württemberg experienced such frequent changes in its ecclesiastical affiliation during the Reformation as Musberg. Jurisdiction shifted constantly. Between 1530 and 1560, Musberg was temporarily assigned to Vaihingen, Böblingen, and Echterdingen. This frequent change was the decisive reason for the parishioners' strong desire for their own parish.
The parish of Musberg was founded 456 years ago as the first parish in Württemberg after the introduction of the Reformation.
