From up here you just have all-round visibility. Looking north almost to Munich, west to the Staffelsee and in the east of Walchensee. Unfortunately, the place in the summer is a bit crowded.

Bjergvandring
The very distinctive intermediate summit is only a few steps away from the main ridge between Herzogstand and Heimgarten. The short detour is worthwhile, because here you get a different perspective of the ridge than from the main path itself. And you can escape the hustle and bustle on the ridge path for a moment, as many passers-by skip the Schlehdorfer Kreuz.
