The Zellsee is an artificial lake in the area of the municipality Wessobrunn in the district Weilheim-Schongau. He is not a (!) Bathing lake but serves for fish farming.

The Zellsee lies about 6.5 km north of Weilheim on the highway to Wessobrunn.
The approximately 100-acre pond system is artificially created and used for fish farming. The waters are framed by larger reed beds that shelter a variety of waterfowl. A whole series of biking and hiking trails lead along the lake or strip the lake. However, a direct access to the lake is better possible on foot.
