Visible from afar and slightly elevated, the neo-Gothic building of the village church in Linum towers above the surrounding houses. The church was completed in 1868. The stepped gables on the nave (with stork's nest) and tower are particularly magnificent. The crown on the top of the tower was a gift to the village of Linum from Friedrich I in 1711, who often stayed here to hunt black grouse. The church is on the Way of St. James and is always a magnet for pilgrims.

I think the church in Linum stands out from the other churches in this area because of its neo-Gothic style.

Visiting the church is very difficult after Sister Anneliese, who is over 90 years old, is no longer there. A successor has not yet been found.
