Cultural Use & Art
Timber-framed Cellar: The cellar directly adjacent to the Recepturhof is used by the Wallau Timber-Framed Cultural Association (Wallauer Fachwerk Kulturkreis e.V.). It is equipped as a workspace for artists, including a kiln for pottery and etching presses.
Exhibition Venue: Art exhibitions and opening receptions featuring local and regional artists are held regularly in the vicinity of the Recepturhof.

Wandersmann is the popular name for a 20-ton, listed sandstone obelisk with a fountain basin near the Wiesbaden junction on the A66 federal highway. The eleven-meter-high monument bears the Latin inscription:
"Friedericus Augustus Dux Nassoviae hanc viam construi iussit, MDCCCXIII" ("Friedrich August, Duke of Nassau, ordered this road to be built, 1813"). The number is supposed to indicate the year of completion.
