Update 4/2025:
The road is officially closed. Work is being done there on weekdays. There are still three short/easy stretches due to mudslides. Otherwise, the road is wonderful for road biking – uphill.
On Sunday, there was NO construction work, and we were able to drive the road without any problems. Certainly MUCH more beautiful than the busy Strada dei Fiorentini.

Recent rains have caused a gravel gully to wash out, blocking the road in some places. However, with a little attention, you can get through.

Old asphalt road that connected Barcarola (Valdastico) with Tonezza del Cimone. Closed to car traffic for some time. Currently also closed to pedestrians and bicycles due to recent landslides which blocked the passage in the first half of the climb. However, you can pass carefully, pushing the bike in 4 - 5 points.
