The tarred and concrete road to the “Farol Ponta do Arnel” lighthouse and on to the small fishing port from Nordeste is unusually steep with a 35% incline. Driving on the street with tourist cars is not allowed.

A really steep descent, which would still meet a cars we did not think. The lighthouse is just a lighthouse.

The lighthouse is more beautiful from above, it impresses with its location. The small harbor is nice, but here, too, the extremely steep path is the goal.
UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES drive the car down. While it's not forbidden, a sign says it's not recommended. The warning sign with the information 35% is no longer there.
Let it be. It's not worth the thrill of practicing hill starts on the tight corners with one wheel hanging in the air and the clutch overheating and the handbrake not holding. And then someone comes towards you.
Great from above!
