    The approximately 545 hectare nature reserve extends west, south and east of Krayne and north and northeast of Lübbinchen. The Krayner Ponds and the Krayne reservoir extend in the area. The B 320 runs to the south-west and the B 112 to the east. In the east, the state road L 46 runs through the area.
