Mentioned for the first time in official documents in 1311, the village of Sibiel has a museum of Icons on Glass which receives up to 15.000 visitors per year and here are located the ruins of the Salgo Fortress which is part of the Sibiel Hermitage. The village is known for the hospitality of the locals, for the very tasty fruit species that grow here and for the traditions of the place, many of which have been preserved over time
