At one of the corners of the square is the Parish Church of Nuestra Señora de La Asunción, in a typical Castilian style, featuring its two bell towers and an entrance atrium with a garden.
The square was formerly used as a bullring.
One Sunday a month there is a craft market with wooden stalls.

What is most striking are its portals and wooden and glass balconies, which provide a warm air to the architectural complex.
Its name is due to the connection that Navalcarnero had centuries ago with the city of Segovia; although before receiving this name it was also known as Plaza de la Constitución or Plaza Real, among others.
From the square you can see in detail the Parish Church of Our Lady of the Assumption of Navalcarnero.
