Landevejscykling
This pass, just over 1,500 meters high, is truly wonderful in every respect. The ascent takes you along small roads with very little traffic, but with many magnificent views—a perfect combination of carrot and stick. At the top, you'll find fewer tourist crowds than on other, more prominent passes. This allows you to enjoy the view of the valley in a particularly relaxed manner. Unfortunately, there are no aid stations.

A pass that has to be earned, with steep slopes over several kilometers on the Virieu-le-Petit side!
Still on this side, after the very high percentages of forest, the summit is revealed little by little, to finally offer a magnificent view of the Jura, the Alps and Lake Bourget. On a clear day, Mont Blanc can be seen.
On the Culoz side, the bends also offer a superb view of Lake Bourget.
A real nice climb, which certainly rivals the big names in the Alps and Pyrenees.
