Cykling

The soldiers of the British 49th Infantry Division wear a distinctive badge: a stylized polar bear on an ice floe. The division is therefore nicknamed Polar Bears. The emblem refers to her stationing in Iceland at the beginning of the Second World War. The Polar Bears play an important role in the liberation of the Noorderkempen.
