The "Conneforde ancestral home" is "a forest cemetery for people who are close to nature" - so it says in a brochure. It was founded in 1958 by the ancestral association Conneforde e.V. and is still in operation today. Finding peace and quiet under trees - for many people that is a nice idea. In recent years, the number of natural burials and thus also tree burials has risen sharply.
