The Spitzingsee is a dream and can be driven as a station of a three-lake tour together with the Schliersee and the Tegernsee. The connection between Tegernsee (Rottach-Egern) and Spitzingsee forms the beautiful Valepp toll road. One of my personal highlights that I drive regularly. Absolutely awesome!
During the tour you should definitely pack a windbreaker for the various downhills! Especially when it's still high on the pastures on over 1,400 meters and along the Valepp goes.

Cycling through the Valepp area at Spitzingsee is fun. Once you arrive at the lake, you can immediately cool off.
