This geotope is a spring funnel with a depth of about 12 m and is fed by several, almost inexhaustible sources from the lower shell limestone.
The water, which has been designated as a natural monument since 1941, fascinates with its crystal clear turquoise water.
The water temperature levels off at a constant 8-10 degrees in summer and winter, so this body of water remains without an ice cover in winter. Even the research of geologists does not provide a complete explanation of this mystical place.
