Vandring
On the oldest map of the Gimmlitztal, in addition to a smelting hut, there are also two Pochwerke. A total of 14.6 t of silver, as well as 79 t of copper and 0.345 kg of gold were mined at Frauensteiner Bergbau. Especially in the Gimmlitztal were the facilities for ore processing. The smelting took place originally also in this valley, later in Muldenhütten. The most important mines were Friedrich August and Friedrich Christoph Erbstolln (old: Pfaffengruben).
