Vandring
The castle cannot be visited. But the park around it is beautiful and offers information about the plants there, among other things. A lovingly designed botanical garden next to the school, which is also worth seeing and has a recreational value.

The castle is a three-storey, plastered brick building with a pitched roof and four corner turrets with pyramidal roofs. It was built in 1487 as a pond house and expanded between 1520 and 1526. After its destruction in 1552 during the Second Margrave's War, it was rebuilt in 1559 and given its current appearance in 1706 thanks to a conversion.
Former owners are the builder, Niklas Hummel, and from 1520 Wolf Horneck. The castle has belonged to the city of Nuremberg since 1927.
