A nice spot of "industrial nature"! It is a sedimentation basin created by the nearby Rhein-Kalk limestone works. Before it was used for sedimentation, some courtyards are said to have been here, including the source of the Anger. The area is no longer used as a sedimentation basin - in the course of the renaturation, a beautiful circular path for hikers and cyclists, a fishing water, wet biotopes and a pasture area where Heck cattle can be seen have been created here.
