It is no longer possible to determine when the first church was built in Echem. Today's church was created according to the plans of church architect Conrad Wilhelm Hase and inaugurated in 1872.
At the center of this church is the altar with a large crucifix in the middle. At the transition from the sanctuary to the nave, the pulpit rises to the left. Many elements of Gothic cathedrals can be discovered in this visually appealing church. It is considered a masterpiece of neo-Gothic architecture.

Unfortunately I have not found anything about this church in Echem on the internet. The Neo-Gothic church is probably built in 1863 and is like many village churches in the region, attractive to watch. The year is at the clock.
