Everyone talks about the Applecross Pass (Beallach Na Ba), therefore underestimates the rest of the peninsula and loop back to the main road at Sheildaig.
This is a stunning ride, but challenging, with some good climbs, albeit coastal and much shorter than the Beallach Na Ba. Having ridden this many times, I now enjoy this segment as much as the big climb, with stunning coastal views.

Unreal seeing Skye from the route. If you plan to eat in Applecross, you may need to book ahead or the only options will be stalls.

Incredible road hugging the coast. The scenery is ever changing and spectacular all the way along. Don't be fooled by the flat looking profile of the road as there are plenty of kickers to sap the legs, it's worth it though!
