The Fürst Hohenlohe-Oehringen winery is owned by the Fürst Kraft zu Hohenlohe-Oehringen family. The winery, run by the 27th generation of the family, is, according to its own advertising, verifiably the oldest family business in Germany. It looks back on almost 800 years of history.
The entire Verrenberg, which has been managed according to purely ecological guidelines since 2008, is managed by the winery. The Verrenberg is a 17 hectare vineyard that is owned solely by the winery. The Verrenberg was first mentioned historically in 1260. The place Verrenberg was named after the vineyard of the same name.
