The complex of buildings located on the corner of Via Basiliano and Via IV Novembre belonged to the Fantini family from 1600 to 1934, together with more than 40 Friulian fields (about 120 thousand square meters).

The Fantini family in the seventeenth century was also the owner of the southern Udine area, also now called "Baldasseria". This name derives from the progenitor of the family, Baldasso, Notary, born in Cussignacco and graduated in Padua, who had bought the whole area then called Baldasseria Bassa, Alta and Media. Married a woman from Bressa, he built his house in the village.

Founded in 1947 by brothers Giovanni and Ersilio, Fantini is still a family business. It is located in Pella, on the shores of Lake Orta, a small romantic lake in the Piedmont mountains, in north-western Italy, where metalworking has a historical tradition and, over time, districts dedicated to the manufacture of taps and household goods have emerged. Water is the common thread that runs through all the company's activities and the lake is a constant presence and the true "genius loci".
