Vandring
The tower was named after the Fehn or Vehn family, who ran the inn next to the tower for a long time. Or Fähnleinsturm because of the weather vanes.

The Fehnturm, together with the Türmersturm, around 180 meters away, marks the boundary of the medieval core city. The tower erected in the 13th century - it measures 28 meters - flanked the lower gate of the inner city fortifications. Named after the Fehn family, the tower was temporarily used as a prison and since 1908 as a town museum. Today it can be visited as part of a city tour.
