Panoramically suggestive white/gravel military road and especially in the last 2 km, after the Galleria D'Havet, until the arrival at the Rifugio Achille Papa. Challenging uphill (in this case in the first part) considering both the slope and the ground.

The Heroes' Road itself is the stretch about 2 km long that connects the Galleria d'Havet to the "Achille Papa" refuge, located at the Porte del Pasubio, in the municipality of Valli del Pasubio. Excavated on the orographic right of the vertical cliffs overlooking the impervious Val Canale, it has a rather uneven natural background. Accessible by bike, but with quite dangerous stretches on the ravines adjacent to the roadway.

With a bike suitable for off-road vehicles it is possible after the climb and stop at the Papa Refuge to descend from the Scarrubi road. This road is longer but allows a nice alternative of views and descends to the locality Bocchetta Campiglia from which it is then possible to return to the starting point of the Fugazze Pass with an asphalt path of about 5 kilometers and thus create a ring.
