At first glance, the ascent is really not visible - even if it is part of the E4 long-distance trail: yellow-black waymarks. But the closer you get to the rock, the more visible the trail becomes. Here, surefootedness is required and it is best to be free from giddiness.

Starting early in Loutro in the morning, you will mainly hike from east to west (Loutro -> Ag. Roumeli). So you have the sun in your back and can uninhibitedly GLOW, how beautiful this is, without being constantly blinded!

Coming from the direction of Loutro, there is a wrong turn immediately to the right (!). Unfortunately, it is marked in blue. But the path is broken off there and is quite dangerous.
Right at the beginning, near the sheep pen, you have to follow the beach a little further down. There, the path is bordered by stones on the left and right. Go slightly up the rock and always follow the markings there. It is a T3 there, so sure-footedness and a head for heights are an advantage. Mountain boots too.
