Beautiful, shady beer garden with great views to Bamberg and the place Buttenheim. Here is still the old beer garden tradition that brought snacks may be consumed.
Alternatively, there is also a selection of dishes from the Franconian kitchen. Traditional self-service concept. The home brewed beer of the local brewery tastes very good.
Opening hours from April to September in good weather:
Daily from 14 to 22 o'clock
Sunday and holidays from 11am to 10pm

Georgenbräu is located in the Franconian town of Buttenheim and has been brewing there since 1624 according to traditional recipes. There are various specialty beers, including the "Buttenheimer Urstoff", which is dedicated to the invented here of the jeans, Levi Strauss. Near the brewery you will find the beer cellar, where you can enjoy cold beer and delicious snacks every day from 2pm in the summer.
