On the bike tour on Klammljoch you drive through the largest national park in Central Europe, the Hohe Tauern National Park Austria. First you drive past the Alpengasthof Oberhaus, then through the Oberhauser Zirbenwald forest with the largest contiguous pine tree population in the Eastern Alps. The closed Swiss stone pine forest, together with the cultivated valley floors and pastures, form a delightful backdrop for the bike tour through the Hohe Tauern National Park.

A magnificent bike tour through the Schwarzach Valley to the Klammljoch pass. From the Erlsbach toll station, past the Patscheralm and the Oberhaus mountain inn, the well-maintained road leads initially towards the Jagdhausalm at 2007m. Staying on the road, you'll have to navigate a few switchbacks before reaching the Klammljoch pass and thus the South Tyrolean border crossing. On the way back, you should treat yourself to a snack at the Arventalalm or Jagdhaus-Alm.
