a coffee in a unique place, full of history. The abbey is one of my favorite spots when I pass this area.

"The Fossanova Abbey is one of the most significant examples of Gothic-Cistercian art in Italy. Built on the ruins of a Roman villa of the Republican age, it was first a Benedictine monastery and later, at the behest of Innocent II, it was granted to the Cistercians who they built it in its present form. "
The exterior offers dining options, a bar, cookie shop and it is really pleasant to take a walk.
