Coming from the Ullachtal car park, up towards Birnbachloch! The way to the glacier is not signposted, but easy to find! Below the Birnbachloch, turn left at the "Steinschlag" sign.

The Birnbach Glacier is not far from the Birnbachloch. It feeds on avalanches that come off the Birnbachhorn in winter. The Birnbachgletscher is Central Europe's lowest-lying glacier.
