    On the lake (in the southern part) there are three islands with a total area of 0.5 ha. The maximum depth of the lake is 8.8 m, the average is 4.7 m. The length of the shoreline is 3700. Three small streams flow into Lake Kocioł, and in the southern part a stream flows out, carrying water to Lake Gil Wielki.
