An amazing little town, with a colorful history.
Friesoythe belonged to the Hanseatic League, but perhaps also not right and now remembers his legacy as "Eisenstadt". The sculpture is reminiscent of the production of scythes, as these equipment from Friesoythe had a nationwide reputation.
Every year, events around the topic of forging take place and an important representative of this guild is Alfred Bullermann.
