One of the most beautiful / picturesque castles far and wide! Harmoniously built, impressively located on a rock spur above the valley. The park with a very Italian flair.

Weesenstein Castle rises on a rocky outcrop of mica slate with quartzite deposits above the Müglitz valley about 3 km south of Dohna in the Weesenstein district of the Müglitztal municipality.
A very beautiful baroque castle with a super nice park to linger.
You just have to have been here.👍
Below the castle there are paid parking facilities as well as a castle restaurant and a café.
Around the castle there are wonderful hiking trails along the Müglitz but also in the beautiful forest area directly adjacent.
