The island of Saint-Cado is one of those magical places in Brittany. You will first notice the tiny house with blue shutters hanging on its rock adjoining the Island and facing the quay of the village of Saint-Cado.
A small road provides access to the island: A house with a thatched roof and granite stone guards the entrance to the site. We traditionally come to the island to drink at the beautiful Saint-Cado Fountain. It dates from the eighteenth century. The water from the fountain is said to have powers against rheumatism, skin diseases and deafness.

The small island behind one of the postcard motifs par excellence has many small highlights. A leisurely stroll is worthwhile. The little chapel is beautiful.
