The Jasmund National Park is home to the 118-meter-high Königsstuhl, the most famous of the Rügen chalk cliffs and the UNESCO World Heritage-listed beech forests of the national park. Especially the chalk cliffs are the unique feature of Rügen and especially in impressive proximity and shape to admire. In addition, an exhibition in the national park informs about flora and fauna as well as the formation of the national park.

Very nice view of the Baltic Sea. Unfortunately, walking at the foot of the chalk cliffs is not without its dangers, because rocks are falling down again and again.

The beech forest is especially beautiful here and you can glide along it on the new bike path.
