Cykling

Anklam was first mentioned in 1243 and joined the Hanseatic League in 1283. The prosperity of the Hanseatic era can be seen in the brick churches of St. Marien and St. Nikolai, but also in the Gothic gabled house. The most famous Anklamer is Otto Lilienthal, who made his first flight attempts here. The Otto Lilienthal Museum and a special exhibition in the Nikolaikirche are dedicated to him.

The Hanseatic city was founded in the 13th century. After the Thirty Years' War, the border between Prussia and Swedish Pomerania was on the Peene. There is a lot of history to discover.

Cykling

The center of the Hanseatic city fascinated me while walking through it and discovering it, there is something new to see on every corner. Anklam has a special flair due to its location on the Peene and as a former Hanseatic city.

I enjoy cycling here and getting to know the city and its surroundings.
