The bird station in the Wedeler Marsch is managed by NABU. The surrounding shallow water zones attract waders such as snipes, oystercatchers, herons, ducks and lapwings with a rich supply of food. Depending on the season, there are also numerous migratory birds.
The NABU employees are very helpful and can open up the world of birds to you with patience and enthusiasm. It's worth a visit!

The Wedeler Marsch bird station is located in the middle of the Fährmannssand bran collection point, which has now been renatured again. An Eldorado for all kinds of water birds. You can observe at three observation stations without disturbing the wildlife. But the station must be open for this to happen, otherwise everything is barricaded.
