Nestled in the fresh green of the Mainau Forest near Konstanz lies the St. Katharinen Monastery, whose roots go back to the 13th century. Once inhabited by Augustinian hermits, it became a women's monastery in the 15th century. Today, the historic monastery courtyard with its cozy beer garden invites you to linger. Since 2013, it has been part of the "Mainau Adventure Forest," where visitors can enjoy the warm season with all their senses.
